Stroibis Co. Ltd. started its history from the early 90-ies of the XX century, when the several like-minded students from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys decided to continue the work of their senior colleagues, the leading Soviet specialists of aluminum industry Kurdyumov A.V., Belov V. D. and Inkin S.V.

Our Products:
Cover, grain refining and modifying, degassing, furnace wall cleaning, and drossing- off fluxes. Chemical composition and functions vary due to customers’ flux application preferences. Among a variety of other uses, flux is a key component of low-cost aluminium production processes. Inorganic salt compositions play an important role in the processing of molten aluminium. Most fluxes are based on either the KCl-NaCl or the MgCl2-KCl binary systems. Additives include other compositions of active elements that affect in-furnace performance of flux, its functions and application. They are used either in a passive role to cover the molten metal in order to prevent oxidation and hydrogen pick-up, or in an active role to refine and modify aluminium alloy, and to remove earth- alkali impurities (Na, Mg and Li). The physical and chemical properties of these various fluxes are reviewed in terms of application to the aluminium industry.
We also manufacture a wide range of nickel, ferrous, titanium, copper and manganese tablet alloys and hardeners. Application:
Used in the manufacture of high quality aluminium alloys in applications such as rolling ingot for foil stock and canstock, billet for precision extrusions and high quality foundry casting alloys, providing the following benefits:
- concentrated form means reduced inventory, transport and storage costs
-high element recovery (typically over 97%)
- rapid dissolution at normal casthouse operating temperatures
- accurate and clean addition to enhance or alter physical properties of the metal.
The elemental addition is in granular form, usually at 75% - 99% concentration level and balance 1% - 25% aluminium powder with or without a flux inclusion, compacted into a puck or tablet.
